Our names are Dylan Read and Alice Bate, and we are year 12 students at Wymondham College. We recently had the privilege of taking part in the Lessons from Auschwitz project run by the Holocaust Education Trust.
On the 23rd of April, we visited Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Poland in order to learn about the atrocities of the Holocaust and the personal stories behind the statistics. Now, as part of our next steps project, we are endeavouring to teach the lessons that we have learnt to our wider community.
As part of our project, we are creating a video to document the history of dehumanization since the liberation of Auschwitz in order to promote the values of equality and respect. This blog will track the progress of our project and provide further information.
